The symbol poster for Victoria Arduino – which has become an important “piece” of Italian and international graphic art – dates back to 1922; it shows an elegant traveller who, leaning out of a departing train, preparing an espresso with a Venus by Victoria Arduino. The artist behind the poster was Leonetto Cappiello, one of the best-known and admired painters, illustrators and poster designers (1875-1942) of the time. Cappiello created some 3,000 posters for Italian companies. Today, this collection, which is also of important historical value, can be seen in the major graphic art museums, in Italy and worldwide.
